Questions about your session

Suitability discussed before booking.
Why does VAURA ask health and safety questions before a session?
Different experiences involve cold, heat, light or pressure, and what is comfortable for one person may not be suitable for another. A pre-session conversation helps the team identify concerns, explain the session and decide whether to proceed, adapt or defer it.
Do I need to disclose my medical conditions and medications?
Yes. Tell the team about relevant conditions, medications and recent changes to your health before a session, including medicines that affect sensitivity to light or heat. If you are uncertain whether an experience is appropriate, consult your healthcare provider first.
Can everyone use every VAURA therapy?
No. Suitability differs by therapy and by individual health history. The team will discuss the specific experience with you; some sessions may need to be postponed or avoided.
Can I use VAURA therapies if I am pregnant?
Do not assume any cold, heat, light or compression experience is suitable during pregnancy. Speak with your maternity healthcare provider and the VAURA team before considering a session; a therapy may be declined or deferred.
Can children use VAURA therapies?
These experiences are not automatically suitable for children. Please contact the team before making plans for a minor. VAURA will review the particular therapy and age and may decline the session; seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional where relevant.
What if I feel unwell during a session?
Tell the team immediately. The session should be stopped and you should move to a safe, comfortable place. Seek medical attention for severe or persistent symptoms; VAURA is not an emergency care provider.
Can I stop a session whenever I want?
Yes. Tell the team at any point if you want to stop or need a break. They will help you end the session safely; you do not need to push through discomfort.
Can I use VAURA therapies when I am sick?
If you have a fever, an active infection or feel unwell, postpone your visit and speak with the team before rebooking. For medical concerns, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Important safety notice
VAURA offers wellness and recovery experiences, not medical diagnosis or treatment. These experiences are not suitable for everyone and results vary. Before booking, disclose relevant conditions, medications, pregnancy and any current symptoms. Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you are unsure whether a therapy is appropriate for you. Stop and tell the team if you feel unwell during a session. For urgent or severe symptoms, seek medical care; VAURA is not an emergency service.
Each therapy also has its own considerations. Explore individual therapy guidance and discuss suitability with the team before visiting.
