Compression Therapy in HSR Layout
Our studio is in HSR Layout Sector 2, so this is the neighbourhood guide: how to reach us from each sector, when the recliners are free, and how compression fits into a regular local routine.
VAURA sits on 22nd Cross, off 20th Main in Sector 2, which makes compression therapy a genuinely local habit for people living and working in HSR Layout rather than an occasion that needs planning. Most of our regular compression clients are neighbours: people who finish at one of the gyms along 27th Main, run the Agara lake loop in the morning, or spend the day at a desk in one of the Sector 1 and Sector 6 offices. This page covers the neighbourhood detail. For what the therapy is, how a session runs and what the research supports, see the full compression therapy in Bengaluru guide.
Getting here
Reaching Sector 2 from around HSR
Sector 2
Walkable for most of the sector. From the 20th Main and 27th Main junction it is a few minutes on foot, which is why Sector 2 residents tend to book the shorter mid-week slots.
Sector 1 and BDA Complex side
A short ride down 27th Main, then into 20th Main. Traffic around the BDA Complex signal is the only real variable, and mostly in the evening.
Sector 6, Sector 7 and the Agara end
Come along 17th Cross or the Outer Ring Road service road and turn in at Sector 2. Straightforward outside peak hours, slower when ORR traffic backs up towards Agara.
HSR Layout falls under the BBMP Bommanahalli zone, and local buses along 27th Main are run by BMTC. For turn by turn navigation on the day, open the studio map route.
Timing
When the recliners are free
A local page should tell you when to turn up, not just that we exist. These are our observed patterns through a normal week.
Weekday mornings
Quiet and unhurried, and the easiest time to get help setting up the cuffs properly on a first visit.
Weekday afternoons
Popular with people working from home nearby. Since the session is seated and clothed, it slots into a working day without needing a shower or a change.
Weekday evenings
Our busiest stretch, especially after 6.30pm when the local gym crowd finishes. Recliners are limited, so book ahead rather than dropping in.

On arrival
Parking and access
- Cars: park on the cross street beside the studio. Easiest before 6pm, tighter during the evening rush when the surrounding cafes fill.
- Two wheelers: use the studio frontage, which keeps the cross street clear for turning.
- On foot: if you are within Sector 2, walking in is often faster than parking. Evenings are well lit along 20th Main.
- Inside: mention compression at reception and you will be seated in a recliner. Clothed, seated and passive throughout, so you can head straight home after.
Local routine
How neighbours actually use it
Living nearby changes how compression is used. Rather than one long occasional visit, HSR clients tend to book shorter, more frequent sessions: after a heavy leg day, the evening before a weekend run, or on a day that was spent entirely at a desk. That rhythm is the practical advantage of having the studio a few minutes away, and it is usually why local clients pair it with whole body cryotherapy or an ongoing physiotherapy plan.
If you are visiting more than once or twice a month, our packages make the routine easier to keep, and the team will talk through suitability before your first session.

FAQ
Questions from HSR Layout clients
Where exactly in HSR Layout is the studio?
VAURA is in Sector 2, on 22nd Cross off 20th Main. Sessions run there daily and the compression recliners sit alongside the rest of the recovery floor.
Can I walk in from elsewhere in HSR Layout?
Clients living within Sector 2 often walk. From Sector 1, Sector 6 or the 27th Main stretch, a short auto ride is usually more comfortable, particularly in the afternoon heat.
Do I need to book, or can I drop in?
Booking is better. Compression recliners are limited and evenings fill first. A quick WhatsApp message is enough to hold a slot.
Which times are quietest?
Mid-morning and early afternoon on weekdays are the calmest hours. Weekday evenings after 6.30pm and weekend mornings are our busiest.
Is parking available at the studio?
Yes, on the cross street beside the studio. It is generally straightforward before 6pm, and two wheelers can park along the studio frontage.
Can I add compression to a session I have already booked?
Usually yes, subject to recliner availability. Because it is seated, clothed and passive, it is the easiest therapy to attach to the end of an existing visit.
