Whole Body Cryotherapy in HSR Layout
The chamber sits in our Sector 2 studio, a few minutes from most of HSR. This is the local guide: routes by sector, parking, the quietest slots, and how a three minute session fits into an ordinary day here.
VAURA is on 22nd Cross, off 20th Main in Sector 2, which is what turns whole body cryotherapy from an occasional experience into a local routine. Our regular HSR clients are neighbours: people finishing at the gyms along 27th Main, running the Agara lake loop before work, or sitting at a desk all day in Sector 1 and Sector 6. This page covers the neighbourhood detail. For what the therapy is, how the electric chamber works and who it suits, read the full whole body cryotherapy in Bengaluru guide.
Getting here
Reaching Sector 2 from around HSR
Sector 2
Walkable for most of the sector. From the 20th Main and 27th Main junction it is a few minutes on foot, which suits the short mid-week sessions Sector 2 residents tend to book.
Sector 1 and the BDA Complex side
A short ride down 27th Main and into 20th Main. The BDA Complex signal is the only real hold-up, and mainly in the evening.
Sector 6, Sector 7 and the Agara end
Come along 17th Cross or the Outer Ring Road service road and turn in at Sector 2. Quick outside peak hours, slower when ORR backs up towards Agara.
HSR Layout sits in the BBMP Bommanahalli zone, with BMTC buses along 27th Main. For turn by turn navigation on the day, open the studio map route.
Timing
When the chamber is free
Three minutes of cold, twenty to thirty minutes door to door. These are the patterns we see through a normal HSR week.
Weekday mornings
The calmest window and the easiest time for a first visit, when the screening conversation and chamber walkthrough are unhurried.
Weekday afternoons
Popular with people working from home nearby. Three minutes in the chamber, no shower needed, and back at a desk inside half an hour.
Weekday evenings
Busiest after 6.30pm when the gyms along 27th Main empty out. The chamber takes one person at a time, so book rather than dropping in.

On arrival
Parking and access
- Cars: park on the cross street beside the studio. Easiest before 6pm, tighter once the nearby cafes fill in the evening.
- Two wheelers: use the studio frontage, keeping the cross street clear for turning.
- On foot: within Sector 2, walking in is usually faster than parking, and 20th Main is well lit after dark.
- Inside: a short screening conversation on a first visit, protective socks and gloves provided, then two to three minutes in the chamber with a team member present throughout.
Local routine
How neighbours actually use it
Being minutes away changes the pattern. HSR clients rarely book one long occasional visit; they come after a heavy leg day, the morning before a weekend run, or on a week where training volume has jumped. Cryotherapy is often paired the same visit with compression therapy for the legs, or with whole body red light therapy when the goal is broader than recovery alone.
If a specific joint or injury is the reason you are looking, a physiotherapy assessment comes first. For two or more visits a month our packages make the habit easier to keep, and the team will check suitability before your first session.

FAQ
Questions from HSR Layout clients
Where in HSR Layout is the cryotherapy chamber?
Inside the VAURA studio in Sector 2, on 22nd Cross off 20th Main. The chamber is on the main recovery floor, alongside compression and red light.
How long should I set aside for a session in HSR?
The cold exposure itself is two to three minutes. Door to door, including the short screening chat and time to settle afterwards, most HSR clients are in and out in twenty to thirty minutes.
Can I come straight from a gym on 27th Main?
Yes, and many people do. You change into dry clothing before entering the chamber, so arriving warm from training is not a problem. There is no shower needed afterwards.
Which slots are quietest for cryotherapy?
Weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons are calmest. Weekday evenings after 6.30pm and weekend mornings are the busiest, so book those ahead.
Is parking easy at the Sector 2 studio?
Car parking on the cross street beside the studio is generally straightforward before 6pm. Two wheelers park along the studio frontage.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in from nearby?
Booking is safer. Because each session is short, slots turn over quickly, but the chamber takes one person at a time and evenings fill first. A WhatsApp message is enough.
Is the chamber nitrogen based?
No. VAURA's chamber is fully electric, so the air inside is breathable and your head and neck are inside the cold too, rather than left above an open nitrogen cabin.
