Whole Body Cryotherapy in HSR Layout, Bengaluru
A quick reset for body and mind. A short, controlled exposure to very cold air at -85°C, designed to support recovery and leave you feeling refreshed and alert.
Overview
What this experience is
Whole body cryotherapy is a brief session in a chamber cooled to very low temperatures of -85°C / -121°F. Most sessions are only a few minutes long, and you remain standing and fully aware throughout.
When the skin is exposed to cold, blood vessels temporarily narrow. This process is called vasoconstriction. It helps reduce blood flow to the skin surface and may support the body's response to swelling, inflammation, soreness and discomfort.
After the session, as the body warms back up, blood vessels expand again. This is called vasodilation. It supports circulation and brings oxygen-rich blood back through the body. Many clients describe the post-session feeling as refreshed, energised, clear and lighter.
How it works
The session, step by step
- Step 01
You change into dry, minimal clothing, removing jewellery, watches, belts and other metal accessories. VAURA provides protective wear as a protocol.
- Step 02
You step into the chamber, where cooled air surrounds the body for a short, closely monitored period. You may feel intense cold and a sharp chill sensation.
- Step 03
Your body begins adapting to the cold temperature; skin temperature drops while the session remains short and controlled. You may experience tingling, goosebumps or mild numbness.
- Step 04
You exit the chamber and begin warming naturally as blood flow returns to the skin and extremities. You may feel warmth, energy, alertness, lightness and improved mood.
